Haven’t posted for a while. Here’s a recap…

We’ve had some solid successes this year. As or right now, we’re still getting a few raspberries — they kept going all summer and into the fall. We also have more than enough chard, kale, and collards, plus a few fall orach plants. We harvested peppers a few weeks ago, and they put on another crop that’s still growing. The green beans and dry beans did pretty well.

We got some corn — not a lot, but enough to enjoy. The sungold tomatoes have done well, and the Juliets are small but plentiful.

The pestilence this year was squash bugs. Never had them before. They took out the spaghetti squash plants after a few squash had grown, and the delicata before anything was produced. We might have to skip squash for a couple years, or find a variety that is resistant.

Hazelnut harvest was a couple weeks ago, if I remember correctly.
