A fresh batch of golden beets. This is two different varieties of golden beets but I’m guessing they’ll years the same.
  • I tried planting these cool weather crops in soil blocks a few weeks ago and they all DIED. I’m keeping these freshly planted ones indoors until August. Then, when the weather cools down, I’ll let them play outside with their friends.

About Chehalem Prairie

In 2018, we bought two acres with a 1911 house just outside the edge of town. We use the farm journal to keep track of what we do on these two acres, and we sell and give away stuff at the farm stand on Chehalem Drive.
